Dundee Dynamo is about good rides, good company and the adventures that grow from both.
Weekenders and bikepacking
Some adventures deserve more than a morning. Club members organise weekend trips and bikepacking rides that give us time to explore farther afield, share route knowledge and enjoy the social side of cycling.
Plans vary with the season and the people taking part. Details are shared through our Facebook group and the private members’ WhatsApp group.
Mallorca together
Members meet in Mallorca twice each year. The group brings more than 30 years of experience riding the island, with extensive knowledge of its routes, climbs, cafés and quieter roads.
These are social holidays as well as cycling trips. Spouses and partners are warmly welcome, including those who would rather enjoy the holiday than ride.
Winter at the velodrome
Caird Park Velodrome is operated by another cycling club, but Dundee Dynamo members actively attend its evening sessions over the winter. It is another way for members to keep riding, develop their skills and spend time together when the nights draw in.

Member Adventures
Dundee Dynamo members take on sportives, tours, bikepacking trips and cycling adventures throughout Scotland and farther afield.
Brian and Rab take on The Bà
Brian and Rab travelled to Kinlochewe for The Bà Sportive, completing a challenging 90 mile round trip through spectacular Highland scenery.
The sportive became a full weekend adventure with the campervans, followed by well earned pizza and beers at the local café.
