An informal, social and inclusive cycling club bringing together road, gravel and mountain bike riders in Dundee.
It’s all about the bike
Dundee Dynamo Cycling Club was formed in 2022 to bring together people from across the different disciplines of cycling. Our members include experienced veterans, social cyclists and people who discovered the sport later in life.
Our motto, “It’s All About the Bike”, guides the club. We care about riding, sharing experience, welcoming people and enjoying the places a bike can take us.
The name Dundee Dynamo connects us with a broad international tradition of road and off-road cycling, as well as a favourite Dundee meeting place from the club’s early days.
Different rides, one club
Our three regular groups are equally important parts of Dundee Dynamo. Bike & Blether offers an accessible social pace, Dudes in the Woods explores local trails and gravel routes, and Sunday Club Pace covers longer road distances at a brisk group pace.
Whatever the group, nobody is left behind. Riders may separate on hills, but everyone regroups at the top.
A club beyond the weekly ride
Club life also includes weekenders, bikepacking, winter velodrome sessions and twice yearly meetups in Mallorca. Partners are welcome on club holidays, whether they cycle or simply enjoy the time away.
