Dudes in the Woods: Helping Out the Tracks!

Dudes in the Woods ... with saws and an axe! We had a dry start on our Saturday expedition to Tentsmuir with a mission on our minds. Due to the most recent storms, some trees were down and blocking our infamous Dudes in the Woods route. So, our mission today was to clear the trees for the good of cyclist-kind!

We left the car park after raiding the van for saws and our favourite axes. We were well tooled up and ready for action! Luckily for us, some of the biggest trees were already cleared which meant we could focus on the rolling track half way round. We now only have one obstacle to climb over, but it’s clear and on the rooty path we have cleared one of the high paths which has been blocked for a while.

It must be said, the forest is the wettest we have ever seen and we really got a soaking, but as ever it was fun!
